When hearing the word “Michelin”, you might imagine the most glamorous venue with sophisticated tiny portions and waiters, who must have attended the army. Or, if you are anything like me, you may think of the Disney animated movie Ratatouille and Ego’s displeased pursed lips when he tastes the food. Whatever it might be, “Michelin” asks for a fair association with status, quality, and excellence – similarly to Oscars and Grammy. In 2020, two Czech restaurants were included in the Michelin guide of star-holders – Field for the third year and La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise for about the 10th year. Prague being the modern city it is, you’re able to find almost anything you could want here.  Truly.  Whatever you’re in the mood for, someone is probably selling it…  and if it doesn’t yet exist here, someone is probably importing it… but there are still some things that, while they’ve become available here, the country has been slow to adopt.  Within that small category I would list certain sweets.  Chief among them?
