Pragovka, the cultural center for modern art, introduced its new approach to the synergy between art and people at ArtBazaar. At the event, visitors can buy selected masterpieces from local and international artists, visit various workshops, and have a great end of the week.
The ArtBazaar will take place on July 30, 2022 (Saturday), and will run all day long—from 10.00 to 18.00. Event organizers promise that nothing will stop ArtBazaar—not a hurricane, storm, or tornado.
No cancel culture here, so enjoy the end of July with an artistic feeling!
What is Pragovka?
Pragovka is a modern artistic place created for everyone, ready to share their world vision. It is also an art gallery where you can see the works of international contemporary artists in different areas of art. Whether we are talking about visual arts, performing arts, or any other category.
‘It is a creative space where art and life, work and play, old and new, history, the present, and bold visions meet,” describes the notion of Pragovka, its founders.
In a nutshell, Pragovka is an art space where everyone will find something they like. Quite a unique and untraditional approach. We love it!
ArtBazaar: Cultural Program
The event’s program is full of colorful and interactive events that catch your eye immediately. For instance, there is no need to leave your kids at home. They can enjoy the event as much as grown-ups.
There will be workshops for children (Praská továrna) in the ArtBazaar, as well as a special guided tour through the gallery and even the theatre, where they can experience one of the most famous plays – Faust.
For big boys and girls, the itinerary is slightly different. As a vivid example, they can participate in the art discussion about the current exhibition, visit the installation with a private guide, and participate in the afterparty, which is excellent to meet art soulmates or just have a drink with people who adore art as much as you do.
Ultimately, all visitors will have a chance to buy the pieces of artwork they adore the most.
A little birdie told us that the negotiations are only acceptable in cash—so make sure to bring some!
Multiplied Field: only at Pragovka
Multiplied Fields is the ongoing exhibition, running at Pragovka for some time. During the ArtBazaar, visitors would have a marvelous opportunity to perceive the notion of modern art with a personal guide who would explain all the meticulous details. In the sense of contemporary art, this is the must-have option as you cannot see what is coming next!
The exhibition will be open throughout the event without any limitations. It is totally up to you how you want to visit the installation—with a guided tour, alone, or perhaps you want to combine both to get the most out of it.
Getting to Pragovka
Since Pragovka is located in the industrial area of Prague 9, the best way to get here is by taking the metro B (yellow line). Take a ride to Kolbenova station, where you will have a short walk to the premises.
If you live in the area, we suggest you take the tram to Poštovská and enjoy the lively neighborhood from your window.
