Most videos of Prague focus on familiar sights and landmarks like Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and Old Town Square.
But in his latest video, Prague Moves, travelling filmmaker Alex Soloviev showcases a different view of the Czech capital – a recreates a moody atmosphere that may be familiar to Prague residents past and present.
“I would like to share with you my latest short film dedicated to the one of the most beautiful city in Europe – Prague – old, magical, melancholic and hectic in its best way,” Alex wrote to us.
“This city is a paradise for the trams lovers, full of golems, spirits, strange puppets and stories.”
“This is not a regular travel video, but short visual poem,” the director told us regarding his filmmaking style. “Video was shot using flow camera technique mixed with hyperlapses and timelapses to help reveal the city without putting too much focus on the main attractions.”
