November 24th:

Must We Leave The Earth?” hosted by the US Embassy in Prague.

Our very own US Embassy is hosting a seminar that is out of this world (or at least trying to be). Deborah Barnhart is the CEO emerita of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, which includes Space Camp.  The Center is the largest spaceflight museum in the world. She was one of the first women to be certified to fight on and drive Navy vessels; she later commanded five units and worked with Navy submarines, air, and space elements.  Explore this talk to learn about SpaceX and the effect of space on the human body.

Noam Chomsky, one of the world’s leading intellectuals, has been a voice for the progressive left throughout his career. He is widely recognised for his contributions to the human sciences and his anti-imperialist writing and activism.Robert Pollin is professor of economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The authors argue that there is a solution, which will raise living standards and protect livelihoods, and it is the Green New Deal.
