The project curated by the AAU Visual Arts students
Grotta, Havlicek Gardens
7th-13th of December 2020
PRAGUE, Czech Republic (7th-13th of December 2020, 2h a day)- the AAU Visual Art students are delighted to announce the Cosmos exhibition. Drawing inspiration from the world recognized novel Cosmos, by the prominent Polish author Witold Gombrowicz, the students engaged in a profuse conversation of varying perspectives much in the manner of the writer, where differing mindsets and artistic practices unite in a frantic and evoking way situated within a not any less stimulating environment.
Situated in the Havlicek Garden, the artificial cave Grotta will be featured as an exhibition site for this ephemeral setup. Selected works of each artist will be available for the viewer for two hours each day for a week due to lockdown conditions.
The Cosmos exhibition will be accessible online, where the visitor would have the opportunity to experience the event through the visual documentation as well. A wide range of photos might alternatively offer even a new perspective suggesting another kind of narrative through the lens of the ‘external’ artist. The exhibition will be documented in a physical form via a booklet as well. For more information, feel free to visit: Facebook, Facebook Gallery, Instagram
